Ravata has developed a tool that is enabling production-scale embryo engineering and is initially targeting the $1.2B rodent model market. Today, customers are using the device to create mice for medical research with 50% less animals and at 53% the cost. Ravata's technology has applications across many species and is already being applied to animals such as sheep, swine, bovine, and non-human primate embryos. In the long run the founders aim to transform not just the animal model industry, but also human fertilization technologies.
