The University of California is pleased to announce the 12 finalists of the 3rd Annual UC Entrepreneur Pitch Competition for UC’s faculty, staff, students, and alumni. These 12 finalists will pitch their startups to more than 800 business leaders and venture capitalists at the 4th annual 2019 Global Corporate Venturing & Innovation (GCVI) Summit, held in Monterey, CA, from Jan. 29-31, 2019.
VC judges will select one winner from each competition track to receive a $15,000 cash prize.
The 3rd Annual "I am a UC Entrepreneur" competition for UC entrepreneurs was launched in November 2018, to highlight the innovation and creativity of our 270K students, 200K faculty, and 2 million living alumni.
UC invited faculty/staff, student, and alumni entrepreneurs to participate in the competition to highlight the impressive work and richness of innovation in UC’s expansive innovation ecosystem.
